Why FG&R Exists
Many homeowners know the result they want but are unsure how to define the scope, compare approaches, reach reliable professionals, or evaluate estimates. FG&R creates structure at the beginning. We walk the property, organize the details, coordinate the bidding process, and help the homeowner move forward with greater clarity.
What We Do
-
Meet onsite and discuss the homeowner's goals
-
Take measurements and document property conditions
-
Clarify the project scope and priorities
-
Invite available professionals to submit written estimates
-
Present the estimates for the homeowner's review
-
Coordinate a meet-and-greet with the selected professional
-
Remain involved through the final walkthrough to help keep the original scope visible

What We Do Not Do
FG&R is not the contractor that performs the construction, and homeowners do not sign a construction contract with FG&R. The homeowner evaluates the options, chooses the service provider, verifies that provider's qualifications for the work, and contracts directly with that provider.
How the Service Is Paid
There is no fee to the homeowner for the initial consultation and project planning. When a project moves forward, FG&R's marketing and coordination fee is paid by the selected service provider, as applicable. The homeowner's construction agreement remains directly with that provider.

Local Property First Approach
West Hawaiʻi properties are not interchangeable. Wind exposure, lava and soil conditions, slopes, drainage, access, animals, HOA requirements, and the way a family uses the property can materially affect the right solution. We begin at the property so the project can be defined around real conditions rather than assumptions.
